I blamed you for that,
For causing me so much pain,

But now, I begin to see,
That those aren’t things for blaming,
But, things I should thank you for,
Because,
you’ve showed me how not to be…

How not to love,
How not to see,
How someone’s loving me,

You’ve showed me,
How not to scream,
How not to curse,
How it only makes it worse,

You’ve showed me,
How to run away,
How to close the door,
How to be a coward,
when you don’t have
the guts anymore,

You’ve showed me,
How not to tell the truth,
How to lie,
How hurting means saying goodbye,

You’ve showed me,
How it doesn’t matter,
How many times you apologize,
Because it’s meaningless after a couple times,

You’ve just showed me,
Some of the things that are wrong,
Some of the things I can’t do,
