I’ve waited so long
Why did I ever think
you’d come back?
I’m still waiting
But I’ll keep on dreaming

My colour is losing hold
I’m a leaf meant to fall
into caught up greed
I don’t dare to let go
Scared to fall,
afraid to break
Into a thousand pieces
So I’ll keep on dreaming

When its full moon
and the stars shape my face,
When you stare at a fallen leaf…
First full of life and colour
Now dead and insignificant
Will you remember me?
Or did you forgot me long ago?
